What each disclosure page covers

The hub contains two disclosure pages: one about how this site earns money, and one about how creators disclose their own brand deals.

The Advertising Disclosure names Google AdSense as the ad network and publishes the site’s AdSense publisher ID. It lists the 7 content route groups where ads render, the 11 trust and utility route groups where ads never render, and the four ad formats in use. It also states the site’s no-affiliate and no-sponsored-content position and documents ad labeling, placement rules, and the user controls for ad personalization.

The Sponsorship Disclosure is a compliance guide for TikTok creators, not a statement about this site. It covers when FTC rules require disclosure, the triple disclosure method of toggle, hashtag, and verbal statement, FTC penalties that reach $43,280 per violation, and the UK ASA and EU standards. It also answers the common edge cases: gifted products, affiliate links, and long-term brand ambassadorships.

Content standards

TT Calculator applies one editorial standard to every calculator, guide, and benchmark page. Each page moves through a four-stage workflow: research, drafting, expert review, then publication. Financial and technical claims require reviewer sign-off before release.

Six editorial desks divide the workload: Editorial, Research, LIVE, Commerce, Tax, and Growth. Each desk owns the assumptions, copy, and corrections in its domain, and page attribution points to the responsible desk.

Every page carries a visible last-updated date, and every calculator exposes its assumptions inline so readers can stress-test the inputs. Every published page meets four requirements:

• A documented source for every quantitative claim
• An explicit assumption block on each calculator
• Reviewer sign-off on financial and technical claims
• A visible last-updated or last-verified date

Educational estimates only

Every output from the site’s 35+ calculators is an educational estimate, not financial, tax, accounting, legal, or investment advice. Estimates build from published benchmarks and labeled assumptions, and three boundaries apply:

• Outputs are planning ranges, not payout guarantees or account-level predictions
• The site has no access to individual TikTok account data, so no tool reports what a specific account earns
• Tax tools approximate liability for planning and do not replace a licensed professional

Calculators also surface eligibility gates before estimating a stream a creator cannot yet access. Example: TikTok’s published Creator Rewards Program eligibility requires at least 10,000 followers and 100,000 views in the prior 30 days, so the tools state that gate alongside the estimate.

Advertising and affiliate disclosure

Display advertising funds TT Calculator. Google AdSense serves the ads, and ad placements sit apart from calculator inputs and action buttons so monetization never touches formula logic.

TT Calculator runs no affiliate links today; display advertising is the only monetization channel in production. If a page adds an affiliate relationship, the relationship is labeled on-page and recorded in this hub before the links go live, and presence of monetization never changes editorial evaluation standards. Data handling and privacy

Calculator inputs stay in the browser. The core tools run client-side and require no account creation, so earnings estimates never leave the device unless a user explicitly submits a contact request.

TT Calculator does not sell user data. Two third-party Google services run on the site: Google Analytics for aggregate traffic measurement and Google AdSense for display ads. Both operate under a documented consent flow, and personalization follows the user’s region and consent state. Cookies, consent, and data processing are documented in full in the Privacy Policy.

Accessibility

TT Calculator targets WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance as its design baseline. Pages use semantic HTML, sufficient color contrast, keyboard-navigable controls, and text alternatives for meaningful icons.

Calculator outputs render as plain text and structured tables rather than images, so screen readers reach the numbers directly. Accessibility is treated as ongoing maintenance rather than a one-time audit, and reported barriers enter the standard correction queue through the Contact page. Barrier reports carry the same 48-hour acknowledgment target as content error reports.

TikTok trademark notice

TT Calculator is an independent site and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by TikTok or ByteDance. The names “TikTok,” “ByteDance,” and related program names appear on this site only for descriptive identification of the platform the tools model.

All trademarks, service marks, and brand names belong to their respective owners. Nothing on ttcalculator.net implies partnership, certification, or data access from TikTok or ByteDance.

The calculators use public benchmarks and the site’s own modeling assumptions, not proprietary TikTok data. TikTok does not publish exact Creator Fund RPM rates, algorithm weights, or gift revenue-share percentages, so those inputs remain labeled estimates.

Independence holds in three concrete ways:

• No TikTok or ByteDance API partnership, data feed, or account access exists
• No advertiser previews content or vetoes a formula, ranking, or benchmark
• All ad revenue arrives through Google, so no direct advertiser relationship exists

Policy update cadence

Compliance and trust content follows a fixed review calendar rather than ad-hoc edits. The site applies four review cycles across its pages.

• Calculator assumptions: reviewed weekly, prioritized on platform changes
• Tax rates and brackets: reviewed annually alongside IRS publication cycles
• Platform features and policies: updated within 7 days of an official announcement

Official TikTok or ByteDance announcements trigger off-cycle reviews: affected pages enter the correction queue automatically rather than waiting for the calendar.
